Services. Carolina K-9 Doggy Day Care LLC ("Ruffin It," "we") provides dog daycare, boarding, and grooming at our Ocean Isle Beach facility during posted business hours.

Health and behavior requirements. All dogs must have current, verified vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo), be in general good health, on flea prevention, and pass our temperament evaluation before joining group play. We may decline or discontinue service to any dog that presents a safety risk to other dogs, our staff, or itself. Dogs recently spayed or neutered require a 14-day recovery period before boarding.

Free first day. Our free first day of daycare is available to new clients, one per dog, and includes the temperament evaluation. A payment card on file is required to reserve the spot; the card is not charged for the free day itself. Promotional offers (including any free-week promotions advertised through specific campaigns) are separate, limited offers with their own stated terms. Free days have no cash value and are not transferable.

Memberships and packages. Memberships bill monthly and renew automatically until cancelled with 30 days' notice. Package days do not expire, may be shared among dogs in the same household (each dog must pass our temperament evaluation), and have no cash value. Referral credits apply to daycare days, never expire, and have no cash value. Drop-in availability is subject to our daily capacity. Members receive a late-pickup / early-drop-off grace window (30–60 minutes, no charge); non-members are subject to late pickup and early drop-off surcharges, which vary by severity and frequency.

Boarding. Nightly boarding includes a full daycare day and a bath at pickup. Published peak dates carry a per-night surcharge. Owners must provide portioned meals in labeled bags and medications in original containers.

Grooming. Full grooming appointments include one complimentary daycare day, valid the day of the appointment, for dogs meeting standard health and temperament requirements. Bath Club memberships bill monthly and renew automatically until cancelled with 30 days’ notice.

Emergencies. If your dog becomes ill or injured, we will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact immediately. In an emergency we may seek veterinary care on your behalf, and you agree to be responsible for reasonable veterinary costs.

Assumption of risk. Group play carries inherent risks, including minor injuries that can occur in normal dog play. By using our services you acknowledge these risks. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by North Carolina law.

Photos. We may photograph dogs in our care for report cards and, unless you ask us not to, for our website and social media.

Changes. Prices and these terms may change; current versions are always posted on this site.
